Introduction of The Artist:
HIS NAME IS: HELMUT
Helmut studied fine art and in Zurich Switzerland at the Zurich school of art, eventually graduating from Zurich school of art college with a degree in Art in 1950.
Hi finished his education as a free hand Engraver as well as manually operated Engraving machines.
His passion was always the photography and filming (Super 8 and later VHS).
Helmut stared in 2008 to experiment with his old PRACTICA Spiegelreflex camera to create this spectacular photos. His wife MELITTA supported him and helped, so he called this photos then HEMELIT's.
Helmut started then to use the family's bathroom with no natural light to shoot the photos in complete darkness with a colored light bulb hanging from a network of wires from the ceiling and swinging over the old PRACTICA Spiegelreflex camera with a fish eye objective or wide angle objective with a permanent opening time of the shooter.
So no digital random technical just manual set up of an impressive but simple set up to get his photographic impressive art picture.

Helmut tried to publish these pictures but unfortunately his Polyneuropathy symptoms got worse and worse, so he soon was not able to walk and move anymore without assistance.
In addition, a cancer was diagnosed and so his dream to publicly present his work did not materialize.
Helmut died in Zurich Switzerland on Cancer in June 2019 .
He and his work will be remembered by his wive Melitta, the two sons and the families grand children and great-grandchild.
